» Feature Writer Tracy Rose - It doesn't have to be time consuming either

We had about an hour of sunlight left a few nights ago and still needed to get in a workout. We had our two kids with us, ages 3 and 7. We wanted an activity we could all do to enjoy the weather and spend some energy.

We found a cach about a mile from our home. We drove to the park, tracked the coordinates and headed out into the woods. We has such a blast out in the woods together. My 7-year-old son was the one to actually find the treasure box. They found a magnifying glass and a ball and we replcaed them with an address book and an action figure.

We made it back before dark and got in a 45 minute hike without even realizing we were exercising.
