» bleufrancais - Core and bread

It's not entirely accurate to say that bread isn't allowed on Core. Just use your wpa's. I switched to Core after 10 months on Flex and I have never eaten better - good, healthy choices and never hungry. Why did I wait so long? I too thought that carbs would be an issue. They really aren't. I don't know why WW doesn't promote Core more. Some people think it's because they'd sell fewer boxed of nutritionally-empty snacks! At least keep an open mind about it and check out the Core message board on the Weight Watchers site. There are hundreds of Core enthusiasts there who would never go back to Flex.

The Core Plan on Weight Watchers is far more strict than the Flexpoints Plan. You may be allowed one slice of bread a day ( good for half a sanwhich at lunch) but compared to the amount of carbs I eat now, it is next to nothing.

The leader at my meetings syas that she uses her flexpoints for "real" cheese because that is her downfall. I would be using all of mine on bread, since that is mine.

I think it is great that they offer the two programs to choose from though so you can pick which one works best for you.
