What is your opinion about Kirstie Alley appearing on Oprah for her bikini reveal?

Some think that Kirstie and Oprah were wrong to hype up the weight loss and new look for Kirstie Allet because it confirms that women need to be thin to measure up in our society.

I don't agree with this. I think if anyone can lose a significant amount of weight, better thier health and feel good about themselves then that is a good thing that should be celebrated. Besdies the fact theat Kristie is not sickly thin like so many stars and runway models. She still had some meat on her bones, but it is a healthy amount compared to the amount of weight she used to carry.

What is your take on this?
