Don't stress over snacking ideas. Keep it simple and stock your kitchen with easy to prepare foods that are easy to grab in a hurry.
· Keep single-serving snacks available.
· Try Weight Watcher's frozen desserts for the occasional treat.
· Fat-free pudding and yogurt are good sources of calcium without a lot of calories.
· Graham crackers with a small amount of low-fat peanut butter are filling.
· Have the occasional treat when you eat out; don't keep sweets at home.
· Don't eat treats that were meant for the kids. If it helps, only buy them snacks that aren't tempting for you.
· Cut up fruits and veggies ahead of time and place in bags or small cups. You're more likely to eat them if they are easy to grab when you're ready for a snack.
Remember, if you're not really hungry; find something else to do to take your mind of off food to avoid consuming too many calories in a day.
