The best way to find a bra that fits correctly without being too tight, poking into your side or lacking support.

Finding a good-fitting bra is a challenge for most women, but for those carrying extra weight it can be nearly impossible.

Even sizes that should fit get caught between rolls of fat and dig into our sides.

To find a flattering bra that fits right you may have to be fitted at a major department store or lingerie store.

Once you've discovered your correct size, you'll need to choose wisely which style is right for your body shape. Added padding, underwires, minimizers and wide shoulder straps should be considered for extra support. Also buy a few good sports bras for proper support during exercise.

Every brand will be slightly different. Try on several bras from different lines to get a feel for which ones offer a bigger cut, a roomier cup and more back support.

Once you find the perfect bra, stock up on them. Even if you can only afford to buy one or two right now, it's a good idea to say the tags and write on them where you bought it so you can return later to buy more.
