After researching the Fat Smach Diet, I decided to give it a shot to respark my weight loss. It made sense and it sounded pretty sensible to me. I loaded up on fruits and vegetables at the store and was ready to get started.
Being a complete carb addict (though now accustomed to eating good quality carbs,) I knew it would be tough for me to get started, but I was motivated by the huge weight losses seen on Celebrity Fit Club.
My Day:
9 AM - Ate plain unsweeted yogurt with fresh mixed berries.
9:30 AM - My face felt tight like I was having acute sinus pain. I took some motrin and ate a banana for a snack.
11 AM - The headache I had was overwhleming and I could not concentrate. I felt weak. I had a lot of work to get done, but thought if I rested it would help, so I laid down.
12-1 PM - Took a short nap to try to sleep off the headache.
1 PM - Ate a bowl of oatmeal and took some more motrin. Still not feeling well. My head felt like a balloon.
2:30 PM - I finally went out and got a 6-inch Subway sub. It was very satisfying and immediately made me feel better. I was able to finish my work and continue on with me day as usual. But so ends my trial of the Detox Phase.
I'm not sure if I am just wired differently, but I do not function well without carbs. So the best bet for me is to stick to everything in moderation and do my best at making better food choices.
