Walk for to lose weight while raising money for a charity you want to help. Save lives, help fund research and make a difference by walking.

Walking to lose weight is great, but participating in charity walks is even better. By walking for charities, you’ll not only have a distance to aim for and a goal to reach, but you’ll also be supporting a worthwhile cause.

Charity walks are a great way to get in shape. They give you a date to plan for and you can choose the number of miles you want to aim for. As a beginner, a 5K walk may be a good starting point, while an intermediate walker could do a 10K and an avid walker might even try a 3-day charity walk. Work you way up in small increments until you are comfortable walking the predetermined distance for each particular charity walk.

Charities that hold annual walks:

Experience what it is like on the actual day of a charity walk.

Try a 10K walk with a group of Volksmarchers.
