Since Kim (the red team's trainer) was ready to break out in tears at the weigh in on The Biggest Loser, I am looking forward to seeing how she reacts next week when she finds out that her team, even after she warned them, could not come to a unanimous decision on who to vote out. It came down to two votes for Amy and two votes for Phil. With the final vote cast and the tie in place, the red team lost the ability to choose and put their fate in the blue team.
It wasn't an easy thing for the blue team to send someone home either. Everyone respects and likes Phil, but every contestant sees him as a treat, and rightly so. They agree that he is the one to send home because he will continue to lose weight at home and becasue he would be able to be the Biggest Loser if he stayed on the show.
I was shocked because I thought for sure Amy would be the one leaving the Biggest Loser Campus this week. She has not shown 100% effort and has displayed an attitude at times. It would also make sense to send her home, from a team standpoint, because she was slow at the challenges and was losing the least amount of weight.
Phil was my pick for the winner of the Biggest Loser this season, so I was sad to see him go. His update showed that he has lost an additional 49 pounds since he returned from the Biggest Loser campus and I am interested to see how much progress he is able to make before the final, live weigh in at the finale.
