Neil, a former member of the blue team, had a shocking way in that showed he gained 17 pounds in one week. Jaws dropped as the other contestants saw the weight gain.
After a tough week of emotional highs and lows, a cookie challenge and having the teams split up into four equal teams of three, Neil shocked all of the Biggest Loser contestants with his weigh in.
Water Weight Gain
The remaining contestants on the Biggest Loser confronted Neil at the campus after the weigh in. He was caught knowing a little too much about the weight of a gallon of water so he came clean and confessed that his weight gain was no accident. He purposely drank two gallons of water before the weigh in. His reasoning in doing so was to keep the blue team members safe. He promised them before that he would do whatever it took.
Reaction to Neil's Weight Gain
The remaining contestants on the Biggest Loser are disappointed and disgusted by Neil's actions. Bob, Neil's trainer, couldn't even stay in the same room with with Neil because he was so angry he couldn't even see straight. Bob felt it was a reflection on him.
Jez Pays the Price for Neil's Weight Gain
Perhaps the bigger shock is that the other teams chose not to vote Neil out this week. Maybe they think they have a better chance against Neil in the finals than they would against another contestant. Unfortunately, Jez was sent home in an untimely fashion due to the prank that Neil pulled.
Weigh In Takes Pressure Off of Amy
Meanwhile, Neil's weight gain took some of the pressure off of Amy, who fought with her trainer, Kim, and decided to train with Jillian instead. Having trained with a new trainer, Amy was hopeful for a larger weight loss, but she stayed the same.
