Biggest Loser Finale 2006

In a two-hour finale of the Biggest Loser, there were many updates and a look at the contestant’s emotional roller-coaster on the ranch and at home. The contestants that had been voted out week after week returned for their final weigh in. Brian proved he was biggest loser material by losing more than 50% of his total body weight and he took home the $100,000 prize.

In the end it all came down to the final three. We had to wait until the very end of the show to see why it was three and not four. Heather could not compete for the grand prize because she was five months pregnant. She obviously lost a lot of weight though and looked very healthy and cute as a button with her little pot belly.

Wylie came in third place, but I think he is okay with that because he has gained so much more by proving it to himself that he could lose the weight and get his life back. He is so happy that he glows. He looks amazing, with a lot of muscle definition and a size 32 waste.

Kai came in second place and really proved that women can lose weight just as well as the men. She lost the highest amount for a female in the show’s history.

Erik became the newest biggest loser with an astonishing 214 pound weight loss! He went from being the biggest guy on the show at 407 pounds to a downright skinny guy with nothing left to lose. He is hardly recognizable in his new skin, but he looks amazing and thin seems to suit him well.

With the pressure off, the contestants of the Biggest Loser can return home and begin the fight to maintain their weight loss in a world that revolves around food.
