If you ate a lot (and all the wrong things!) over the holidays, you are not alone. Many of us throw cuation to the wind to enjoy the holidays with food and drinks that have a way of making us feel better in the moment.
The problem with these feel-good foods is that the good feelings don't last. You end up feeling bloated, guilty and fat.
Now is the time to remedy the problem and work on getting those extra holiday pounds back off. Why wait until after the New Year? How many times have you waited to lose weight? "I'll start Monday" is a good one. You end up gaining a few extra pounds before you start to get it out of your system and prepare to buckle down on a strict diet.
A better way is to eat what you want all the time, only to do it in moderation. Grazing for three days straight isn't moderate eating. But if you eat a little less and move a little more, you can fend off the extra holiday weight and get back on track quickly.
