A Little Protein Goes a Long Way

How adding protein to each meal can help you feel full longer and stick to your diet without feeling dpreived.


I found out a long time ago (through trial and error) that adding protein, espeically to my breakfast allowed me to feel full longer and eat less throughout the day.

Feeling full allows me to concentrate on other things and not be preoccupied with food throughout the day because I can't ignore my hunger pains.

Cereal isn't the enemy, but if you add protein to a whole grain cereal for breakfast, it will give you more bang for your buck. So the next time you reach for the bos of Kashi or Raisin Bran, throw a couple of peicces of turkey bacon in the microwave and to serve with it. Pairing these items will help you feel full longer because your body takes longer to break them down.
