Learn to build your self-confidence and love yourself despite your weight to win dates. You don't have to be the perfect size to date. Some men are attracted to BBW.

Weight loss doesn't happen overnight. Even if you are trying to lose weight, you don't have to wait until your body is perfect or you reach your goal weight to date. Overweight women can date and with the right attitude and positive self-talk, they can find quality dates. Overweight women who carry themselves differently will be amazed at how men look at them differently.

Overweight and Confident

Confidence is sexy at any size. Men want a date who knows who she is and what she wants. You can't expect someone else to love you unless you love yourself first. Overweight women tend to have low self-esteem and poor body image. This can hurt your dating life more than being overweight. Building confidence and loving who you are as a person is the best way to attract potential dates. It is the self doubt and negative self-talk that generally turns men off.

Stop filling your head with negative self-talk. Stop telling yourself no one will want you until you lose weight. Instead, think positively. If you can't find any positive things to say about yourself, at least acknowledge that your body is a work in progress. Do what you can to get in shape and lose weight. Include resistance training in your workout routine to quickly tone and shape your body so you feel and look your best.

Don't forget to pamper yourself in other ways too. Get a manicure or pedicure, buy yourself an outfit that makes you feel confident and sexy, buy a new perfume, put on makeup and spend some extra time in front of the mirror. You will attract men by feeling good about yourself.

Men Find Big Beautiful Women (BBW) Attractive

There is a stigma that goes with being an overweight woman. Some men won't date a larger woman, but that doesn't mean overweight women need to exclude themselves from the dating world. Plenty of men find BBW attractive. They not only see women for their inner beauty and personal qualities, but also appreciate that women don't have to fit a Paris Hilton mold to be pretty.

The bottom line is that dating isn't reserved for thin people. People of every size can enter the world of dating and Internet dating makes it even easier for BBW to find their ideal mate. So stop letting your weight come between you and the love of your life. Being happily in love may even help you curb emotional eating and lose weight.

I am a woman of size (24)and I am short 5'2, I am working out-swimming, lifting weights and losing a little at a time. Losing is best done slowly especially if you 40 plus. That is so your skin doesn't wrinkle as bad. I am wanting to get down to a 16 before this time next year, and I think I have allowed enough time to accommodate that. My main concern is my skin being stretched out for so long and praying that it has retained some elasticity to do so. Folks don't know how hard it is to lose it.

I'm overweight and trying to lose it, I don't want a man who wants a BBW, seems like he would just sabotage my weight loss efforts.

yeah I don't want some creepy guy looking for an unhealthy woman to feed his sick sexual fantasies. I'd rather lose the weight and get healthy before I get into the dating pool, thanks.
