A typical person eats roughly 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day. We all know that 4,500 is not a good number, especially for those trying to lose weight. The typical American diet is doubled and the dieter’s calories are tripled or more on this one feast each year. But many of these calories are used up on snacking and miscellaneous extras. By cutting back and replacing some items throughout the day you will be able to save a decent amount of calories and even if you overdo it a bit, it won't be as severe.
